User Profile

This journal is one of several viable habitats for this creature of Christianity and visual creativity. I could use the journal for anything, I suppose (except shaving and stuff like that), but I'd like to keep it focused (when I use it at all) on matters of Christian visual art.

My art background is primarily in black and white cartoon illustration, some realistic illustration, and animation. I've also had limited experience in other fields, such as 3D and 2D computer graphics.

I've been unable to do much in the way of art since about 2000 due to ill health, but I've done some odds and ends here and there.

My art interests are reasonably diverse, but I'm currently looking into comics most of all, with illustration second on the list (although I was given a copy of a game called "The Movies" which I maight make some short movies with). I'm trying to develop a full-colour, semi-painted technique in both comic and book illustration; perhaps a cross between traditional and digital methods.
